Methodology
1 · Average consumption
Combine the radio's receive and transmit current, taking into account how long it spends in each state and the selected TX factor.
2 · Session consumption
Multiply the average consumption by the operating hours to estimate the session's total consumption, expressed in Ah.
3 · Battery capacity
Adjust the total consumption using the assumed usable capacity: 50% for lead-acid and 90% for LiFePO4.
These percentages are planning assumptions, not universal limits.
